1.Casuarina Equisetifolia

Casuarina is a good reforesting tree,for its speedy growth having a lifespan of  40-50years.Helps in controlling soil erosion,windbreaks and  used for ornamental purposes.
2.Markhamia Lutea (yellowwood)
Markhamia is an upright and evergreen tree ,grows up to 10-15m high,having a long taproot and yellow flowers which provides nectar for insects. Its roots ,bark and leaves are a source of traditional medicine. Treats stomachache, headache, asthma, cough and gonorhoea.Takes 4-5 years to mature.
3.Melia Volkensii(mukau)
Melia is a fast growing with high value multipurpose, for its quality timber used to make furniture since its termite resistant, durable and decay resistant. Its yellow flowers provide forage for bees.melia is widely used to make loghives
4.Grevillea Robusta
Grevillea is an hardwood widely used as a hedge plant. Has a maturity of 30years,its hardy and draught resistant. Common uses of this tree are like timber and fuelwood,bee forage, soil conservation, windbreaks shade and ornamental.its traditionally used to treat sore throat, chest problems, flu and toothache.
5.Acacia Tortilis
Acacia is a fast growing and nitrogen fixing tree.traditionally used to make shelterbelts.its spiral coiled pods are a feed source to animals since they contain high crude protein .The tree dietary fiber that dissolves in water helps in reducing cholesterol levels and aid in weight loss.In manufacturing sector, its used as pharmaceutical ingredient in medications for throat and stomach inflammation.
